James graduated the 3 year Graphic Design Diploma Program and then went on to receive his Post Grad Website Design and Development Diploma from Georgian College in Barrie. ICONIC design was registered in 2001 when James graduated the design program, knowing that one day, he would be a business owner.
Receiving as much experience as possible, James took opportunities with a local design studio, an interactive multi-media website developing company, a small spot colour press, a promotional company specializing in embroidery services, and worked in the design department for a local sign manufacturer. While working for these companies, ICONIC started with small projects for friends and family on the side lines, growing from one referral to another, until 2007 where James began to work on ICONIC exclusively.
In addition to his Graphic Design work, James has taken on the role of operations manager and is expanding the company into 3 divisions focusing on Desgn, Web and Print. He has developed ICONIC's hosting and domain registration services and has set himself up to take on social media design branding and app interface design. James is the driving force behind ICONIC and it is his vision that is being actualized by growing and staying on top of current trends and technology changes.
